Utilities

The Chicago area is largely served by two primary utilities: Commonwealth Edison for electricity; and Peoples Gas for natural gas. While both the electricity and natural gas markets have been deregulated in Illinois, these two utilities are still responsible for delivering energy—either through electricity or natural gas—to BOMA/Chicago members.
