Security Best Practices Library Updated by Preparedness Committee
Is it time to refresh your building’s Response Plans? BOMA/Chicago’s Security Best Practices library provides property management teams with a wide range of security documents that address security or life safety situations commonly faced in commercial office buildings. These best practices can be considered when drafting site-specific response plans customized to individual buildings’ needs.
BOMA/Chicago’s Preparedness Committee recently updated the Best Practices Library.
Special thanks to Preparedness Committee members Todd Sheetz, Jacob Dutter, Charles Freund, Mark Anderson, Mike Carlson, and Andrew Franzen for their work on these resources. Updates include:
- Elevator Entrapments (updated)
- Medical Emergencies (updated)
- Severe Weather (updated)
- Suspicious Items (updated)
- Workplace Violence (updated)
