CPD Criminal Trespass Program

For buildings experiencing chronic trespassing issues, the Chicago Police Department has a Criminal Trespass Affidavit Program.

Building members with parking lots or private outdoor areas can give the police permission to make arrests on private property, for Criminal Trespass, without the property management team having to call the police department.

This program is completely optional and offers another tool police use to help combat the chronic trespassing issue.

To participate in the program, the following three forms need to be completed and returned to your CPD Business Liaison, which is used by the police as the complaints. You would then be notified of your report number and court date.
