2020 Virtual GCFD Food Drive: Donate Through December 18!

Over 130 BOMA/Chicago members have signed up to participate in the 2020 GCFD Virtual Holiday Food Drive. The drive will start on November 9 and end on December 18. Your monetary donations will go a very long way! Thanks to the GCFD's wholesale purchasing power, every $1 you donate provides three meals – doubling or even tripling the amount of food your dollar can purchase at a regular grocery store. Also, 100% of virtual food drive proceeds are used to purchase food!

2019 GCFD Holiday Food Drive Recap

A total of 157 buildings participated in the 2019 GCFD Holiday Food Drive. Our goal was to collect 130K pounds to feed the food insecure of Chicagoland. Our members surpassed that goal by collecting 219,764 pounds of food. We collected 47,792 in physical food donations and $47,770 in monetary donations ($1=3.6 pounds). Thank you for all of your fundraising efforts this past holiday season!

Annual GCFD Holiday Food Drive: Donations Have Surpassed One Million Pounds!

Each year, BOMA/Chicago members unite to help feed the food insecure of Cook County through our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD). BOMA/Chicago has partnered with the GCFD since 2008 and during this time, we have collected 1,135,176 pounds of food!
