New Building Commissioner Introduced to BOMA/Chicago Codes Committee ​

Newly appointed Chicago Building Commissioner Matthew Beaudet will meet with the BOMA/Chicago Codes Committee on Thursday, August 27.  Beaudet was appointed by Mayor Lori Lightfoot last month after the retirement of Commissioner Judith Frydland retired.

Commissioner Beaudet is no stranger to the Codes Committee.  He has worked on many collaborations between the Department of Buildings and BOMA/Chicago, including the planning and implementation of the recent International Building Code updates.
