Severe Weather Advisory for Chicago Today Until 7 pm

Severe thunderstorm activity is expected between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Northern Illinois and the Chicago area with the potential for strong winds up to 100 miles per hour.  Members are advised to take necessary precautions to secure buildings and construction sites, including loose materials, items and elements that may become dislodged and airborne in high winds.
