Congratulations to Reginald L. Ollie for becoming a BOMA/Chicago Lifetime Member!
In September 2019, both the BOMA/Chicago Foundation and BOMA/Chicago Board of Directors unanimously voted to honor Reggie with lifetime membership. We recognized Reggie at the November Annual Membership Meeting and gave him the framed resolution that the BOMA/Chicago Board adopted.
For the past 30 years, Reggie has devoted his professional career to the betterment of Chicago’s CRE industry, including management, leasing and operations of the historic Monadnock Building. In 1994, Reggie asked the BOMA/Chicago Board of Directors to create a Diversity Committee. Soon after, this Committee was formed and – to this day – BOMA/Chicago is the only BOMA local to have a Diversity Committee.
In 2005, the BOMA/Chicago Foundation created the Reginald L. Ollie Inclusion and Outreach Scholarship in Reggie’s name. Since that time, 17 Ollie Scholarships have been awarded to underrepresented CRE professionals. The Foundation has also held nine annual Diversity Celebration fundraisers for this scholarship program – an event which is beloved among our members.
We are so proud to award Reggie with Lifetime Membership and we thank him for tirelessly advocating for diversity in commercial real estate.
